And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Have you ever taken a step away from the mirror and thought about who you are in Christ? Have you ever been so overwhelmed by the world that you just can’t think?
I love this verse because it reminds us to not be conformed by the world and not to let the world pollute our minds.
Think about what you consume mentally everyday, scrolling, streaming, binge-watching.
All of it has an effect on your mind, how you think, what you think about – when it gets engrained-in your brain it can really wreak havoc on you if it’s not good, if it’s not of God.
The majority of what we see on our screens, by default, is not of God.
Search for something that is and notice what happens to your feed, then notice what happens to your mind.
When you start consuming the Word with your eyes, your ears and your heart, your mind will renewed in him.
Today’s Questions:
How have you conformed to the world?
How has it polluted your mind?
